All phrases used by the Camfrog user interface (button captions, menu items, messages, warnings and etc.) are stored in a special language file called a language pack.
You can translate one or several phrases or a large group of phrases. All phrases are displayed in the Full Phrase List. You can translate Camfrog dialog boxes in the Translated Windows list.
How to use Translated Windows list
Translated Windows show Camfrog windows and dialog boxes to make translating easier. For every dialog box you can see:
- Instructions and recommendations how to translate the phrases of the window;
- Pictures illustrated the Camfrog window or part of the window where phrases are displayed;
- Instructions how to view these windows inside Camfrog.
- Open the un-translated tab to view windows that have not yet been translated.
- Open the translated tab to view windows that have been translated.
- Open the all tab to view all windows available, translated or otherwise.
How to use the Full Phrase List
The phrases filter tabs allow you view translated and un-translated phrases at the Full Phrase List.
- Open the 'Approved' tab to view phrases that already have the approved translation.
- Open the 'Not approved' tab to view phrases that have no approved translation.
- Open the 'Un-translated' tab to view phrases that have not yet been translated.
- Open the 'All' tab to view all Camfrog phrases, translated or otherwise.
You can also search some concrete phrases. Type a phrase ID or some part of the phrase text and press the Search button to try it.
Translation rules
There are %s, %d symbol combination in some phrases. Please do not delete them and do not change the order of these symbols in the phrase, otherwise the translation language file will not work correctly. Please leave the symbols as they are.
The symbol combination \n is called a line feed character. Be sure and save the order and combination of those characters in the phrase you are translating, otherwise the translation file will not function properly.
